When using with the revenge menu of SpamFire 2.02, it seems that SpamFire is reporting my ISP also as a Spam source. 100% of the time I have an abuse message going to my ISP. I have now listed in the do not send list.
Is this normal?

That is what the do not send list is for. You did the right thing.
Who knows why it is reporting your ISP. It could be that your ISP is involved in spamming or relaying spam or their IP address could be spoofed by the spamers.

I think that it's more likely that you have a relay that makes the final delivery to your inbox.
i.e.
myfriendlyrelay.com delivers to myrealdomain.com.
If you add your ISP domain names to your Sp@mX relay list, this will correct this problem.
i.e. given the example above... add :
myfriendlyrelay.com
myrealdomain.com
: to your Sp@mX relay list.

I don't know if there are other "tricks" involved, but when I used Spamfire 1.X years ago, it identified me as the spammer
