It must be Sunday as I received 90 replies from Kornet.net. Every Sunday the same thing happens. Do they save up our spam reports for a Sunday afternoon attack?

That or maybe it just means on Monday morning they push the Empty Trashcan button on their backlog of spam reports 
Kornet.net is one of the big offenders that I see on my spam too.
Another is chinanet which now refuses to receive the abuse reports.

I was surprised today (Wednesday) as I received 34 replies from kornet.net. This has previously only happened on Sunday. Is their spam workload so great now that they had add one more reply day?

Since most of us have been using Sp@mX they appear to have been trying to (give a weak impression of) cleaning up their act.
Typically, though, they either bounce reports or hoard them all until the weekend then send multiple 'acknowledgments'.
Suggest you continue to report (to) them but don't expect too much and certainly don't waste your time trying to correspond with them. Good luck!
