My ISP is earthlink. Been w/ them forever and have been satisfied w/ them. I'm now noticing a lot of spam in the log not being reported because I have them entered in my DoNotSend list.

Got 2 questions:

1. Any suggestions on how to report spammers who are sending from your home ISP w/out reporting
yourself?

2. Also, I'm using Mail.app on my mac....how do I set up a filter that trashes all BCC's. Probably 50%
of my spam is addressed to someone else.

I think that it's safe to remove Earthlink from your donotsend list.

The only way that you'll report yourself, is if the IP address that you're assigned by Earthlink has been abused by someone else to send spam, and therefore is listed in one of the blacklists that Sp@mX checks.

Jeff is it possible to add your own IP in the "Do Not Send" list?
Jeff Hendrickson
Your domain (i.e. comcast.net) yes, your IP address, no.

You shouldn't even need to add your own domain to donotsend with version 3.2.9 up. Unless you are using a spammy ISP, and inherit a dynamic address that's been abused by someone else, a spam report should not go out to your ISP.
