I'm using Outlook 2003 simply because it's what I use at work and it basically does what it says without too much fuss. (Unlike most of Microsoft's products!)

However, the enforced security is starting to bug me.

This copy here is not connected to an Exchange server. Is there any way to turn of the damned "A program is trying to access your address book" and "A program is trying to send mail" prompts?

I'll go trawl the MS site and post back here if I find anything.

ps.. Outlooks new spam filters are excellent, very few false pos even set in agressive mode and even fewer misses.

Well, it seems the only way to avoid the Outlook security prompts is to visit
Express Software and downlaod ClickYes, a freeware system tray gadget that watches for the Outlook dialogs and presses the Yes button for you.

Works a treat.
