I installed Outlook 2003 after uninstalling Outlook XP. Since then when I run Spam Control (V 2.3.2) I get thyis error message: "ActiveX component can't create object". Any idea as to what to do to repair this problem?
Thanks in advance....

Make sure that you've installed CDO (Collaborative Data Objects). If you are not sure if this is installed or not, it is probably not, it is not a default configuration choice when installing Outlook/Office.
If you need to install CDO:
- Start the Office 2000/XP or Outlook 2000/XP setup program.
- Click Add or Remove Features
- Expand the list of features for Outlook by clicking on the + symbol next to Microsoft Outlook for Windows
- Click on the icon next to 'Collaboration Data Objects' and select 'Run from My Computer' from the menu that appears
- Click on Update Now

Hi Erik,
You can try using the download link at
http://www.hendricom.com/Downloads/CDOInstall.ZIP. The user I put this on the site for did not report back whether or not it worked. Please give it a try. If you need more help please start an email thread with techsupport@hendricom.com and we'll get you fixed up.
