Downloaded the Mac version of SpamX

Folder shows the SpamXMacintosh.bin file as a file and not a launchable application. For some reason it acts as a file to be opened by Nikon Capture.

What should I do?

If you double click this file, it will install to whatever folder you have it in, and you should see the SpamX application....

Nope - double clicking just opens Nikon Capture and then says it can't read the file type. blink.gif

OK disregard - I just changed the file type to Stuffit Expander and it opens like explained.

This Mac download should really be changed to be a regular .sit archive or a disk image that self mounts when downloaded. The image should contain the SpamX app and the 3 text files.

If You hold down Control while clicking on the .bin file you will get a menu with a stuffit option to remove binhex encoding, once this is done you can launch the app
