Hi all,
Currently I'm not getting a huge amount of spem - maybe just a few per day - but over 50% of these are coming through hotmail accounts. M$ is quite good at respoonding to reports and shutting these down, but the spammers' strategy seems to be to open huge numbers of these accounts and just keep opening more as the old ones are closed. I'm not a hotmail user, but I'd expect that opening an account would be impossible for a bot (using some sort of visual test that only a human could respond correctly to). Any more info from anyone?
Cheers, Mike.

I hope you received my b-day greetings mate.
I thought that Hotmail had a 25 outbound emails per day limit??

Dunno. I think this mob are generating new accounts all the time. I don't know how, though.

NOW I'm getting a whole pile that seem to be coming from aol accounts -- all the reports are going to abuse@aol.com. However, NONE of these reports are getting any replies. Is this typical of aol??

Hi All, I have also been receiving 1-4 "Hotmail" spams trying to sell software. All from different names and Hotmail accounts. I always receive an "Error Reporting" using Purify to report. Have never been successful in reporting any Hotmail. Hope others have had better luck reporting; otherwise, we still keep getting the little flies bussing around the email. Good luck!
