A tip for Windows 7 Purify users.

When you start Purify, right click on it, and Run as Administrator. When prompted to allow access to ports, choose yes.
You can also set the properties of the Purify executable using the Windows Explorer property inspector, right click, choose Properties, select Run as Administrator.
