I happened to be using Windows Add/Remove Programs today and see that I have got 8 entries for various flavours of SpamX ohmy.gif

To the best of my knowledge I've only installed full versions of 1.3 and 2.0 just changing the .exe each release, so I'm slightly puzzled. Should I just use one of them tools for tidying the add/remove list or uninstall the lot and reinstall the latest? wink.gif

Either way, it may have to wait, I'm heading to Canada for 3 weeks biggrin.gif

Hmm, I use the Package and Deployment Wizard to create this package for Windows. I suppose that it's possible that it creates a new entry each time the installation program is run.

I would just delete the items.

Have a good trip!

I had a similar problem with the 1.x series of SpamX. I found that if I used the Add/Remove wizard and selected "Change/Remove" only one of these entries was active. That is, it was the only one that could actually uninstall SpamX. The others all returned a message like <The uninstall entry that this item refers to could not be found. Would you like to remove this item from Add/Remove?>. For these, I selected "Yes". For the active one, I selected "No" or "Cancel".

Dontcha just luv Windoze? Have a good trip.

Thanks Jeff and Codger, I'll play with it, you never know, I might break it again wink.gif

Certainly aiming to enjoy my holiday cool.gif

Oh another question Jeff wink.gif an email is in the spam folder, it shows up on the list of mail to report but all the buttons are greyed out dry.gif Is something misconfigured? Doh! I bet the lookup points to 'Do not send' entries ... no way to check though as it doesn't seem to process at all ...

Chris, the authentication for version 2.0 is stored in a MySQL database. I've added an entry for you, and I'll email you the info....
