I have another question about the forward-to-iPhone feature, which I'm still just getting into.

In the Purify Prefs > General tab you can "remove deleted forwarded messages". And on the iPhone you can choose between 3 options for deleting messages from server.

I'd like to know whether there's any relationship between the two. Are they two ways of doing the same thing? Or if not, when or why would you perform each operation?

Thanks.

Welcome to the Purify'ed email to iPhone club! smile.gif

The "remove deleted forwarded messages" just takes them out of the Purify database. Nothing else.

You can set your iPhone settings to manage the email on the server however you see fit.

OK. In that case another question: Why is it set up so the user needs to manually delete from the dbase? Couldn't that be a function Purify does automatically in the background?

Yep. smile.gif

That's a "I only have two hands" type of thing. I'll get to it...
