A new folder, "notprocessed" has appeared in the folder where spam messages are saved prior to processing. The folder contains one message and I don't know what to do with it or how to process it as spam. Can anyone tell me how this happened and what to do with it?

You're talking about with Sp@mX, aren't you?

It's quite normal - when Sp@mX comes across a message it can't process (malformed, no headers at all etc), it sets it aside in the 'notprocessed' folder for your (later) attention. That can either be resubmit to Sp@mX or just delete and cut your losses. Good luck!
