Purify Version 2.0
- Purify now features the Purify Lexical Analysis Tool (PLAT).
- The new version of Purify includes a very sophisticated lexical analysis tool (PLAT) that does an exhaustive (but quick!) examination of the content of each email message. Based on a rule set that examines the text for 5 parts of speech, it will separate out what it considers "meaningful" and use it in the training, and rating process!
- PLAT will also "deconstruct" spammer obfuscations like MedicationsThatYouNeed and include the deconstructed content Medications That You Need in its training and rating process.
- PLAT will also generate code for you to look for spammer obfuscated words, like v1agr@. Simply add your word list to the Obfuscated Words Check in Blacklist Preferences to enable this feature.
- Purify 2.0 also includes an embedded URI filter that will use your Purify Country Filter settings to block embedded URIs (links) in email messages where the URI is in a blocked country.
